Fay Hawkins

Pet Bereavement Advisor

Practice: Bracken Veterinary Centre, Bracknell

Fay joined Bracken in June 2018 as one of our receptionists.  She loves greeting all our clients on arrival.

Fay has undertaken the Blue Cross pet bereavement support training, which is online training that covers all aspects of pet loss, both before the loss of the pet, after receiving news of a terminal illness and following the loss of a beloved pet, through old age, illness or trauma. This means she can now help our clients when they may need help through their journey of grief. She is also currently studying to become a pet bereavement counsellor.

When she is not at work, she enjoys walking her two Shih Tzu’s. Her Burmese cat likes to tag along too!!
